Eurosatory 2006 -
Exhibition Preview

Eurosatory has positioned itself as the world's leading land defense exhibition. This event, scheduled for June 12 - 16, 2006 will cover a wide range of defense fields, and is expected to attract some 50,000 professional visitors. In 2004, 977 exhibitors from 45 countries participated at the show, showing weapons and ammunition, protection systems, combat and utility vehicles, helicopters, command and control, logistics, training and simulation systems.

Defense Update will cover the event focusing on:

  • Combat vehicles - including future combat systems, advanced armor protection, upgrades and modernizations, combat engineering and air defense systems.

  • Artillery & mortar systems, including precision attack and special munitions

  • Unmanned Vehicles - including aerial and ground autonomous systems

  • Precision Attack - including missiles and targeting systems

  • Infantry Gear - including weapons, munitions, protection, personal gear, and future infantry suits.

  • C4ISR - Review of modern Net Centric initiatives, from battlefield management systems, communications equipment to satellite imaging, EW countermeasures etc.

  • Homeland Security

  • Counter Terror & Special Operations
