Japan Aerospace is
Japan's premier aerospace event, held every four years since 1966.
The current exhibition has grown in past years and moved to
Yokohama, to facilitate larger exhibit space, additional outdoor
display area and opportunity for flight demonstrations of aircraft,
helicopters as well as seaplanes and UAVs. The last exhibition held
in 2000 covered an area of 10,000 square meters, attracted 297
exhibitors (102 foreign) and 90,000 trade visitors (16% military,
32% industry, 9% air transport, 8% trading companies, 6%
communications).
Topics covered include:
Commercial and military aircraft, light aircraft and helicopters of
Japanese and international origin. Avionics systems, airport
facilities and support, and other aerospace defense systems.

side city of Yokohama, adjacent to the heliport and seaside Pacifico
