Appointments:
Alenia North
America: Retired U.S. Navy Admiral and former
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Edmund P. Giambastiani,
Jr. was nominated as Chairman of its Board of
Directors of Alenia North America, a subsidiary
of Alenia Aeronautica and part of the Finmeccanica Group.
As Chairman, Admiral Giambastiani will be intimately involved
in the strategic planning and activities of the company.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] announced
14 new executive assignments within its Integrated Defense Systems
unit. "These moves take advantage of the strengths we have,
continue the development of key leaders, and drive further integration
and innovation within and across our businesses to achieve both
near- and long-term performance goals." said IDS
President and CEO Jim Albaugh "As with our military
customers, we believe that rotations strengthen the individual
leader and the organization."
As part of this change, John Lockard, 63,
will move to the new position of Chief Operating Officer,
Integrated Defense Systems, reporting to Albaugh and serving
as his deputy. Lockard previously led Precision Engagement and
Mobility Systems within IDS. Pat Finneran,
62, is named Vice President, Operations and
Supplier Management, also reporting to Albaugh and replacing
John Van Gels, who began a special assignment earlier this month
on the 787 program at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Finneran
previously led the IDS Support Services business. Bill
Schnettgoecke, 47, is named Vice President
and Deputy, Operations and Supplier Management, reporting to
Finneran. In his previous position he led the company-wide Lean+
productivity initiative. He will retain those duties with his
new IDS assignment. Also at the IDS top management level, Charles
Toups, 49, becomes Vice President,
IDS Engineering, reporting to Albaugh. Toups most recently served
as Vice President, Navigation and Communications Systems for
Space and Intelligence Systems.
Dennis Muilenburg, 44, is named President,
IDS Support Systems, reporting to Albaugh and replacing
Finneran. Muilenburg previously led the company's Combat Systems
division and successful Future Combat Systems program.
The Precision Engagement and Mobility Systems division will
be led by Chris Chadwick, 47, named as President,
IDS Precision Engagement and Mobility Systems, reporting
to Albaugh and replacing Lockard. Chadwick most recently led
the company's Global Strike Systems business. His successor
at Global Strike Systems, and Vice President
will be Dan Korte, 47. Korte moved from Security
Solutions, where he was Vice President and Program Manager and
led SBInet. Debra Rub-Zenko, 49, is promoted
to Vice President, Weapons Programs, reporting
to Korte. Rub-Zenko was most recently Vice President, Integrated
Missile Defense.
At the Network and Space System, Rick Baily,
50, becomes Vice President and General Manager of Combat
Systems, reporting to Krone. Baily was previously Vice
President and General Manager, C3 Networks. His successor at
this position is Nan Bouchard, 49, he will
also report to Roger Krone, President of IDS Network
and Space Systems. Bouchard previously
served as Vice President of IDS Engineering.
Also reporting to Krone is Craig Cooning,
57, named Vice President and General Manager, Space
and Intelligence Systems. Cooning, previously Vice
President and Deputy General Manager of Space and Intelligence
Systems, replaces Howard Chambers, who began
a special assignment earlier this month on the 787 program at
Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Gregg Martin, 46, becomes Vice President
and Program Manager, Future Combat Systems, reporting
to Baily and replacing Muilenburg. Martin previously led systems-of-systems
integration for FCS. Ginger Barnes, 49, moves
to Vice President and Deputy Program Manager, Future
Combat Systems. Barnes most recently led Weapons Programs.
Jack Chenevey, 60, is named Program
Manager, SBInet. Chenevey previously was Director,
Program Development, Advanced Systems.

Rafael Advanced
Defense Systems appointed Avi Getzler
as VP Business Development. The new position
was crafted as part of a major reorganization at Rafael,
that included streamlining the company's activity along
three divisions. In addition, a Business Development Department
was established, dedicated to Rafael's business activities
including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and
partnerships. |

U.S. Navy Admiral Edmund P. Giambastiani, Jr.
has been appointed as an independent non-executive director
to the QinetiQ Group plc board, replacing Mr. George Tenet,
who is stepping down from the board of the international
company and join the board of QinetiQ North America. Tenet
was recently appointed Managing Director of Allen and
Company LLC in New York City.

SAIC - Science
Applications International Corporation (NYSE:SAI)
the appointment of John P. Hynes, Jr., and John Fratamico,
Ph.D., as business unit general managers. Hynes will lead
SAIC's Mission Integration Business Unit (MIBU). He has
served as the BU's deputy general manager since joining
SAIC in 2004. Fratamico will lead SAIC's Technology and
Advanced Systems Business Unit (TASBU), where he has served
as deputy general manager since 2007. Fratamico joined
SAIC in 1989 and also served as a BU general manager from
2005 to 2007. Fratamico succeeds Jurgen Gobien, Ph.D.,
who has managed the TASBU and its predecessor organizations
since 1993.
The TASBU conducts research and advanced development in
sensor, data exploitation, communication, surveillance
and targeting system technologies. The BU serves customers
including Department of Defense laboratories and other
agencies in the national security community. Fratamico
and Hynes will report to K. Stuart Shea, senior vice president
and president of SAIC's Intelligence, Security and Technology
Group.
