Tadiran Systems introduces manpack receiving system portable intelligence processing unit

Tadiran Systems a member of the Elisra Group, has unveiled a ruggedized, man-packed transportable intelligence computer that can receive and display real-time video and telemetry data from UAVs or other sensors and payloads operating in its vicinity. The unit developed has built-in position reporting capability (GPS) and is providing a variety of image and data manipulation tools, including video freeze, calculations of target coordinates, distances etc. These tools assist the users in converting raw data into a graphical intelligence overlay on a digital map. When used as part of the artillery C4I network, automatic target report generation and artillery correction functions are provided. The computer presents the video channel as well as the UAV camera footprint and flight path, overlaid on a map. MRS can interface with other computers on a local area or wireless network to provide intelligence processing services for tactical formations at the brigade or division level.

A larger, more powerful ruggedized workstation is also provided by Tadiran Systems - the IN-TACT mobile intelligence processing system is designed for mounted operation small vehicles or in compact shelters. Man-portable configurations of MRS are already operational with eth US Marines, while mobile and shipborne configurations are operating with several customers in Europe and SouthEast Asia.
