SOCOM's RG-31s to Receive Independent Suspension

BAE Systems Land & Armaments, Ground Systems Division, (York, Pa.) will upgrade nearly 300 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles with independent suspension system kits. The upgrade will be provided for RG-31 vehicles operated by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Iraq and Afghanistan. The $95 million vehicle modification will be conducted in theater in the upcoming months and be completed within 7-8 months.
