Compact Multi-Purpose Advanced Stabilized System,
developed by El-Op specifically for UAV applications. The system
weighs 38kg and supports day and night observation, area
surveillance, and target acquisition and engagement (designation).
The system comprises a 3rd generation 320x256 fpa FLIR with
microscan, and color/BW TV camera, plus eyesafe laser rangefinder,
designator and target illuminator. The system supports Picture in
Picture functions.
Compass payloads were recently selected as the EO payload for the
British Army Watchkeeper
program.
