| Warfighter Information Network Terminal
(WIN-T) Point of Presence (PoP) (also called WIN-T PoP) will
provide commanders at all levels with full duplex satellite
connectivity on the move. WIN-T PoP kit is an integrated set
of systems enabling every command vehicle to hook up with the
future WIN over Ku (commercial) or Ka (military) SATCOM links,
at data rates of 64 to 512 Kb/s. The kit will be able to install
on armored vehicles and utility vehicles such as the HMMWV,
Stryker and Bradley. The system will maintain constant update
of FBCB2 supporting variable message format (VMF) messages,
and interface with automated fire applications including AFATDS
and Effects Management Tools (EFT).
